Good tent for the price, but too small for an average sized adult

I bought it thinking, hey I’m 5’11” I can sleep in 6 foot, especially diagonally, but my sleeping pad which is 6 foot wouldn’t even fit in it (diagonally even) and even laying in it diagonally without the pad my head was touching a wall and my feet were poking up at the other walls, I suppose if you’re about 5’9″ or shorter and are willing to sleep either in the fetal position or diagonally this is a great tent. I mean I wish I could make it work, it’s built well, it just is too small for me. However IF you are under 5’9″ and are looking for a great tent at a great price, you’ve found it, this tent is PERFECT for you.

I am 6.2 and 220 lbs. I had to sleep diagonal in this tent. I should have checked the dimensions before I bought it. It is a 2 child tent not a 2 person tent lol. It is small and light when folded up and the tent itself is the bag for the stakes/tent poles. It is a great hiking tent and I am happy with it. For 20 bux when it breaks I will get a different one, but I am satisfied for now.

Took this bad boy on a 5 day trip down the conasauga river in the cohutta wilderness! It worked like a dream I’m 6’2″ so it’s a slight squeeze so I put my mummy inflatable sleeping pad in diagonally and it worked like a charm even had a small dog sleep in the tent with me and all my gear so for the price…unbeatable the only con…the rainfly is small but nothing to worry about

Can’t go wrong with the price

We bought this tent at a fraction of what our other climbing/backpacking/camping friends were paying for their small, lightweight, backpacking tents. It is SUPER easy to set up and take down. Straps to my pack in seconds. Camped 3 times in it and I have no complaints. It fit 2 of us (my boyfriend is 6’1″- so it’s a little short for him), both of our frame packs, and our rock climbing gear. Stayed warm- even though it was 30′ outside and snowed in the morning

Wow, all I can say is this was one nice deal to be had for under $25. It really only weighs in at 3 lbs and so it was perfect for my bp tent. Talk about a quick setup, 5 minutes tops is all it had taken me on my 1st trip, with never having set it up at home prior to. I will be putting a coating of sorts on this tent for some alpine stuff later but for the size, weight, ease of setup and the overall quality you can not go wrong on this. I may end up picking up a 2nd one just to have a spare & for a friend if they need one. I prefer to sleep in my own tent alone with my gear but you can share this with another person, there is plenty of space for two. The only downside would be if you are more than 6ft tall, you will have to curl up a bit when you sleep and can not lay out at full length if that is how you sleep. Not a problem for me as I’m only 5’6 & so it is perfect. Can’t really say enough about what a deal this was for what you get. I was not looking forward to spending an arm and a leg for a lightweight tent.

This is an amazing little tent. I don’t think it would fit two people, but one person and a big dog would work out nice. Easy to put up and take down.

I do admit that this tent has its great points. First, it looks pretty good and sturdy. Set up was a breeze! It was also quite easy to fold it back to its storage condition. After setting it up, the tent looked really small so I tested it if I can lay down. I am a petite person (under 5 feet 6 inches) and I stretched inside in a laying down position and I was able to fit and another person of my size can fit as well, but there will be nothing much else you can do but lay down. I was able to sit inside the tent comfortably. When I set this up, the wind was blowing (not very hard though), and it held up pretty well. The price is really good, so I wasn’t expecting this tent to do what a $100 tent can. This is not a heavy duty tent but it’s a good value.
