Roomy & Well-Constructed–Perfect for Our Growing Family

Our family is small and has been happily camping in a 4 person dome tent for the past few years. We are planning a long road trip/camping adventure for the summer (6+ night) and wanted a larger tent that will allow us to have two beds (one for my spouse and I, one for my kiddo) and give us room to hang out if we encounter bad weather in the afternoons.

The tent is great! I own another tent that is a 10×12 dome tent that has a larger base size but not nearly the room as this tent at 7 x 13. What makes this tent larger is the straight up walls. At the side, the walls are about 5′ 8″ and in the center of the tent it is over 6′. The rod pockets for the roof’s fiberglass rods are large for easy inserting of the rods. The 6 side poles are metal and easy to install with thick corner connectors to hook them to the roof. The tent will stand by itself with the poles and roof installed and then the tie down lines give it even more support. The hinged door was a first for me. Once you install the door rods and zip the guide pockets you are ready to swing the door open and WALK inside (no fighting the flaps and screens to get inside) The rain fly covers the roof to keep you dry but also allows for air circulation thru the roof screen. This tent will hold two queen size air mattress. We use one end of the 7×13 room for a mattress and use two folding chairs in the other end to make nice sitting/reading area. There is a wall divider to hook in place to make it a two room if needed. I set this tent up by myself in about 15 minutes with no problems. I have had about 9 or 10 tents over the years and this one is the best for me.

you can stand anywhere in the tent and not have to lean or bend over at all now im only 5′ 7" but if you were 6′ you still be go

Got to use this tent for the first time this weekend, the first thing I noticed was the height, you can stand anywhere in the tent and not have to lean or bend over at all now im only 5′ 7″ but if you were 6′ you still be good. The bottom is made of heavy tarp material not the nylon the sides are made of, this worked out great because where we went it was pretty rough and a cheaper nylon bottom tent would have gotten destroyed. Now the door has pro and cons, I love how it has a frame and that you do not have to zip it every time to close it, (it has Velcro tabs and a overlapping flap to keep the bugs out ) but when you do you have to be careful not to zip the flap up in the zipper. OK now lets talk about water it rained the first night, it rained the second night and it rained all the next morning while we were packing and we did not get a drop in the tent the rainfly fits super snug all the way around keeping the water out. We had two queen mattresses in the tent and still hade enough room for our bags and to stand and change clothes. Love this tent, better than the last three tents I have owned.

I like the tough door my family has tore up 2 …

I purchased this item because the size and height, I like the tough door my family has tore up 2 tent door zippers in the past this one will last and it’s easy to setup and really spacious for 4 people. We took a 14 day vacation in it and my wife didnt complain once so I consider this a great product.

Super Spacious! Pretty nice! (Beach tested once)

A very roomy, mostly quality tent! Set-up instructions are clear enough. I am new to camping so it took me an hour to set it up alone for the first time, as I am a tiny lady as well. It took an hour with two people in VERY high beach winds and bad stakes. The tent kept collapsing and our stakes kept popping out. We eventually got it up… Then the high tide came in and started washing out our stakes! (Staked them too close to the water). Oops. We packed it up and slept in our van :(

Awesome and worth the money

We used this tent for the first time this past weekend at a bike rally and the last night and day of the rally it stormed REALLY bad, we had winds around 20-25mph and it rained so hard you could barely see in front of you. Every other tent in our compound flooded with at least and inch of water. This tent DID NOT LEAK !!!!! As long as you take time to set it up properly you will have no problems.

This tent is SUPER easy to put up

Bought this tent because we were traveling through Cape Breton Island and wanted to have enough room for my 6’3″ son. This tent is SUPER easy to put up, and even easier to pack back up again. This is the first tent that didn’t cause WWIII trying to get it back into the bag! We had a hard soaking rain our second night camping in it and there was no leakage. GREAT investment!

Very nice tent. Easy to set up but it does take two people. Plenty of room to stand even at the sides. The trade off is that the roof is almost flat. First time I set it up it snowed 4 – 6 inches. That much weight collapsed the tent and broke one of the roof bars. Got a repair kit on line and fixed it right up. Still, it is a very nice tent. I would recommend it.

Love this tent, I am 6’3″ tall and hit my head on most tents. I can stand upright in this one, and I love the 2 separate rooms in it and the solid door on it. Was easy to set up and held up well to a lot of wind and rain when we last used it.
